Touched By The Sun

The rocketing pace was stabilised
I thought it would go for long
Before I even think of heading directionless

It was an empty travel
With everything hitting by
And clearing the way before I could touch

I thought someday it would go off in a whoosh
But a saddle point came
And it felt I reached eternity

I learnt to smile and care
I wondered why the fuel come in so late

It was like amalgamating myself with the iceberg
But I forgot the glare of the sun
Which melts the ice;
With all that is left is but a trickle of water
